Faith is a Relationship

Everything we do in Children’s Ministry is to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. Relationship building needs to be nurtured with intentional time. Collierville UMC is a place where kids can learn to know Christ on their level.

You’re First Visit

Our Children’s Ministry Center is located in the center of the Poplar Location. Look for the area designated for check-ins. We call this The Gallery. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead you and your child to their age-appropriate room.

We will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.

How Check-In Works

You may check-in your child at any available station. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, our staff will call the number you provided for our database. We ask that you exit the service immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room.
